General:: DICOM VALIDATE
Dear all,

I could run the DVT to validate my dcm files. However, it seems that there is an error. My ".ds" script file is as follows:

READ "mpps.dcm" "MPPS" DCMFILE1
VALIDATE N-CREATE-RQ DCMFILE1

The mpps.dcm file has missing attributes (such as patient's name) however, the dvtcmd does not report an error:
--------------------------------------------------------
C:\Program Files\DVTk\DVT\Bin>DVTCmd.exe -v "C:\Documents and Settings\ibrahim\My Documents\DVTk\Projects\Examples\Scripts\Mpps\SCP2\MPPS_SCP.ses" "C:\Documents and Settings\ibrahim\My Documents\DVTk\
Projects\Examples\Scripts\Mpps\SCP2\1.ds"

> Executing DvtCmd
> Executing Script C:\Documents and Settings\ibrahim\My Documents\DVTk\Projects\Examples\Scripts\Mp
ps\SCP2\1.ds...
Information : Executing DICOMScript: 1.ds
Scripting : READ DATASET DCMFILE1 from mpps.dcm (into Data Warehouse)
Information : Detected Implicit VR Little Endian Transfer Syntax for File Dataset
> Execution failed.

RESULT: PASSED
Number of Validation Errors: 0 - Number of Validation Warnings: 0
Number of User Errors: 0 - Number of User Warnings: 0
Number of General Errors: 0 - Number of General Warnings: 0

Exit Code: 0
--------------------------------------------------------

In the log, I noticed that there is "> Execution failed." line and I could not find the reasone for this.

Could you please kindly help me for this?

Best regards,

Yildiray

Hi Harry,

just to be sure,
are you refering to the IHE-RO test tools 2007 or 2008, that are downloadable on dbvtk.org?
Or are you refering to the IHE-RO test tools 2009, that is only available for ASTRO members and not yet downloadable on dvtk.org?

Marco

Hi User,

Pl check the script help for understanding and modifying scripts from DVT UI Help menu.

Also if you've new DVT scripts, you can add those in script directory mentioned in session

file. Check the script directory from DVT main ui after opening a DVT project and a session file.

Pl get back to me for further query!

Regards,

piyush

News:: IHE-RO Test tools 2008
We would like to announce that for the IHE domain Radiation Oncology, test tools have again been developed this year and are again based on DVTk.

The IHE Technical Committee of the Radiation Oncology domain has again granted us the development of the IHE-RO test tools for the 2008 IHE-RO 'Image Registration' integration profile. ICT Embedded has taken care of the development of the test tools over the last few months and the test tools are now available for the vendors participating in the upcoming IHE-RO connectathon.

This years IHE-RO connectathon will be held at the end of July (2008). Radiotherapy system vendors will use the test tools in preparation of this connectathon as well as during the connectathon.

After the public demonstration the test tools will again be donated to the public domain, as is common for IHE test tools.

Support:: Re-issued objects not supported well in RT Test Tools
I understand that during the connectathon there was a discussion on this point, on when an object should be (allowed to be) recreated.

In the mutually agreed test scenario's the assumption was made that objects were only re-created when necessary (f.e. when mult-ct series->resampling). This assumption proved to be more restrictive during the connectathon than desired, from the point of some of the participating manufacturers.

For future IHE-RO test tools this is a point of attention that we are aware of; we understand that it is desired that test tools shall handle recreated input objects that are re-exported by actors. We're motivated to specify and create future test scenario's together with IHE-RO members that match the desires regarding the flexibility in this respect.
